Savannah Grill in Sir Bani Yas Island (African Cuisine)

Savannah Grill is located in Al Sahel Villa Resort in Sir Bani Yas Island and serves African cuisine. You’ll find their menu in your villa placed on the table. It’s a buffet breakfast which starts 6.30am-1030am and its international. However for lunch it starts 12nn-3pm and dinner from 6.30-10.30pm. So we have tried their Beef and Chicken Grill burger the night itself when we arrived.

Beef grill burger was having carmelized onion topping which made it really delicious and different! It has emental cheese, tomato, coriander salsa with wedges. The Chicken Grill burger was for my hubby which has mushrooms, crispy lettuce, salsa, guacamole & cheddar cheese  with fries. He loved it too for its tender and juicy meat. We got totally full with this alone because there was too much meat inside these burgers. Aside from that there were side dishes too like salad.

The next morning, we went for their breakfast at around 8am. The restaurant’s interior design is filled with African decorations.

As I mentioned earlier they serve international cuisine for breakfast. Easy for the guests because there’s only one restaurant in the resort. For lunch and dinner if you do prefer something else there are other restaurants in the island from the other 2 resorts that you can dine in. Just inform the reception, make a reservation and same goes for the transportation.

There are varieties of bread and pastries lined up that you can choose from and you can make a toast too if you want. Same goes with cereals, fruits, salad, juice, cheese, waffles, etc. We asked for some omelette and chai (tea with milk) which is not served right away.

Everything is there. Spacious place with attentive staffs. Outside the restaurant you can see few animals roaming around freely such as peacocks and gazelles. It’s part of their attraction and uniqueness of this resort.
