Rolls n Rice was established 4 years ago. The story behind this successful business is through serving authentic and traditional food from around the world. As growing children in UAE they were accustomed eating different food from other countries that’s purely based from their own friends’ and family’s recipes and even passed on from generations. Same feeling the founder(s) would like to pass on to their diners.
They have currently 2 branches in Abu Dhabi. That’s in Al Nahyan where you can properly dine in. It’s the same building where LULU Express is. The other one is in MBZ Mazyad Mall’s food court. Both branches do deliveries and you can order your food online through Zomato, Talabat and 24H.
We tried few of their promising dishes in Al Nahyan. We started with the mix platter that has onion rings, mozzarella sticks and vegetable spring rolls served with Thai Chili sauce, BBQ sauce and mozzarella sauce.
The Walnut Apple Salad it’s a mixed of thin slices of apples, caramelised walnuts, black raisins, and bell peppers with a balsamic and labneh dressing. Super healthy option!
For the main course, we opted for the Moroccan Meatballs with couscous rice. When it came to our table I was impressed with the saucer and bowl they used. It’s so Moroccan! The dish didn’t fail as well. It’s even topped with a sunny side up egg.
The Iranian Torsh Kebab is a lamb cubes marinated in a pomegranate-walnut paste served with saffron rice and salad on the side. If you don’t like spicy dish when it comes to kebab meal then you can go for this.
I tried one of their desserts which was the Raspberry Brûlée Cheesecake. It’s creamy and delicious. The Oreo Cheesecake milkshake was great as well which even our son indulged into also and the Lemon Mint was served with a separate syrup so you can control the amount of sugar you like to it.
The restaurant has an outdoor dining also if you prefer dining outside since the weather is great at this time. Check out their Facebook and Instagram for more food inspirations. Do you get some cravings right now? You know what to do!
