INVITED REVIEW: The Ali Baba Friday Brunch in Horizon Restaurant

Horizon Restaurant has started a brunch called Ali Baba. A Friday Brunch welcoming mostly family ones. I was excited to see what they have in-stored for kids on this. Treasure hunt was playing on my mind or might be a genie playing some magic tricks. It has revealed everything to me last Friday during our staycation in Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana.

The Ali Baba theme created a dedicated kids’ area outside the restaurant. They have majlis setup other than tables and chairs for them to eat. A cool playhouse was placed too and a LCD TV to watch. There’s plenty of food to choose from the Kid’s buffet and spoiling them away with their favourite candies! The ice cream, cotton candy and pop corn stations are surely included too.

On this area, one post has a beautiful display of spices and other dried things like daal. They were put up like a market style. A treasure box also can be found in front of the restaurant and a talented pianist on the lobby playing beautiful piece just right beside the place.

The brunch has Pasta live cooking station that you can either opt for Bolognese, White or Tomato sauce. Wide range of dishes prepared for an International buffet style. A big container of Fatoush is there and they’ll mix everything fresh once the brunch started.

From the restaurant, you’ll have the beautiful pool view of the hotel. If you want to have a look closer, there’s an exit door to access.

Brunch starts from 12nn – 4pm from the price of AED180*/person. Kids eat free from below 6 yrs old and from 6 -12 yrs old have 50% discount. You can make a reservation by email horizon.khalidiya@rotana.com.
