INVITED REVIEW: An authentic Pakistani cuisine

There’s no other way that can make your palates truly satisfied but to go to a specialty restaurants and that makes an authentic taste of it. Village Restaurant is my first casual dining Pakistani restaurant that I’ve covered and they make pakistani food without any twist of something else that will effect the authentic taste of the food.

They are situated near Al Khor Tower A7 in Al Rashidiya on the opposite side of Abraj Al Madina Supermarket in Ajman. In a short time (running for more than 1 year)ย  Alhamdulillah they’ve been famous and standed out as #1 in Ajman. They got Zomato account where people do leave their opinions about their delectable dishes. However you can’t order food through there yet. You can call them up straight for home deliveries. The best part is, it can reach until Sharjah but with a minimum amount. Another good news is, they do catering service. How great is that? That’s the great part of it. It’s to relish these dishes with everyone else on a special occasion.

Village Restaurant is a humble and casual dining restaurant. You won’t expect an elegant setting here neither about the space. The truth is the kitchen is bigger than the dining space. Why? Because it’s a belief that food is what will make customers to keep on craving for more. It’s a top priority to work more on the food and deliver heavenly goodness.

Now let me tell you our own experience when we visited last Friday after Jummah. The big wall is decorated with Lollywood poster with some live props and on the other side is about cricket. They have a TV, washing area and toilet.

Village Restaurant specialties are coming from the Mutton Ala Carte, Chicken Ala Carte and Kababs sections on their menu and mostly it can serve 2-3 people. Awesome isn’t it? We have tried the Mutton Handi (meat is tender and flavour is intact in the meat),

Chicken Dum Biryani (I love this than the normal Chicken Biryani),

Kabab Masala (chicken kabab in masala served in a sizzling plate and it’s really hot and sizzling when served and spicy!),

Haleem (non-spicy and crowned with deep fried onions),

Roti & Lachaydar Paratha (special mention for the paratha because I really appreciate and love it that even though it gets cold the crispness is still present)

and fresh Lassi which I definitely enjoyed, bubbly and helped me cool down with all these spicy food! All dishes are flavourful that’s why even some of the items are hot I’m still eating them. Well I got used to it also already. It’s challenging and makes you eat more actually than the non-spicy ones.

It was great knowing this place. I’m happy to introduce it to hubby as well. It didn’t fail me to brag them to him because him as a picky eater it’s difficult to make him appreciate food and he really liked their food. He’s actually my secret food taster but not anymore! Now you know it ๐Ÿ™‚

Before I’ll end this, one more thing that I want to let you know is that, aside from their current Tuesday deal (order one main dish and get another dish of your choice for FREE), they have Thursday offer also now i.e. Order any 2 main dishes and just pay HALF. Both are valid for Takeaways and Delivery. Ok? So go on give them a follow as well on Facebook and Instagram. If you have visited them already, give support for a review on Zomato. Yallah bye!
